Close to the Dutch border, the wooded Postel is located with its imposing abbey, which was founded in the twelfth century. It is the Premonstratensians who have cultivated the region since that time and hold hospitality in high esteem. They engage in forestry, agriculture and animal husbandry. To support themselves, they brew beer and make cheese. In the meantime, this has grown into a true, artisanal industry. One that tourists are only too happy to visit.

Postel Abbey is visited daily by pilgrims and day trippers. Guided tours are organized in the abbey. In addition, walks have been set out. This abbey has its own cheese production (1947).
