Bergwildpark Meißner

Almost all native wild animals can be seen in the Meißner mountain wildlife park. A wide variety of bird and small animal species feel right at home in the spacious aviaries. Ponds offer opportunities to rest and feed. Red, roe deer and mouflon run free.
A large, child-friendly adventure playground with tunnel and hills, climbing rocks, water, meadow and sand, play equipment for climbing, sliding and jumping, building and learning and enough space to romp inspires children of all ages. Older people can use the fitness equipment.
The 11 x 9 m bouncy cushion on the playground is new for 2023.
The small museum "Waldwichtelhaus" was recently redesigned in the basement.
Planning and work is still going on on the upper floor.
At the show apiary, young and old can watch the busy bees in peace and quiet.
The restaurant with beer garden invites young and old guests to linger and enjoy. By the way: if you just want to stop off, you don't have to pay an entrance fee.
