Tips
Three of the fountain wells that adorned the squares of Mons at the time are still preserved.
This is the case with the fountain pillory in Louis XIVth style that we find here.
It was built in 1779 by Ouvertus and is in blue stone.
It was moved several times and underwent restoration in 1930 and again in 1980.
