Tips
Church of St. Wojciech - a Roman Catholic church located on the Main Market Square in Krakow. Originally Romanesque, rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 17th and 18th centuries.
According to tradition, Saint was supposed to preach in this place. Wojciech, and a wooden church was to be built to commemorate this event. During archaeological research, relics of an earlier, brick building from the turn of the 10th and 11th centuries were discovered under the current building. The current Romanesque temple was built in the second half of the 11th or the beginning of the 12th century.
