After the Wieskapelle was demolished, in 1876 Pastor Johannes Ibach had a new chapel built in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and equipped with a beautiful marble altar. It is the second largest chapel in Villmar and offers 25 seats. In 1897 the bishop of Loretto raised it to a chapel of Loreto and granted it five plenary indulgences. Today, May devotions and rosary devotions take place here in the Marian months of May and October.
