The path begins about 2.5 km west of Benediktbeuern Abbey. Due to the diverse ecosystem moor there are no paved paths or narrow trails, but you have to balance on individual tree trunks or move through plank paths through the moor and transition moor. A raft passage is even possible via the heart of the moor, a small moor lake. The whole path, about 3 km long and perfectly integrated into the surroundings, offers some adventurous stations.
