Na Rathanan, the Horns of Alligin, are a trio of blunt pinnacles that lead up to Beinn Alligin's Sgùrr Mòr summit. A traverse of the Horns is a straightforward grade one scramble and rewards with classic views of Torridon's monumental massifs. Particularly fine is the vantage of Beinn Dearg's ridge beyond the Horns on the final ascent of Sgùrr Mòr.

The Horns of Alligin (An Rathanan) are the most interesting and exciting part of a circuit of Beinn Alligin. It is a narrow exposed ridge that requires serious scrambling often with large drops. Not for the unskilled or feint hearted.
In winter conditions this is a serious mountaineering expedition.
