Bulach Alb Bridge with cat figures designed by Karlsruhe sculptor Gerhard Karl Huber as part of the art-in-architecture project. These stand on narrow pylons about two meters tall, which are placed on the right and left edges halfway across the bridge. The pylons made of bronze document the eventful history of two once independent communities. The location of the pylons was therefore not chosen by chance, as the Alb once formed the border between the two towns of Beiertheim and Bulach.

The 'cats' crown two pylons that are provided with texts. The pets were modeled objectively and then cast in bronze. Gerhard Karl Huber worked as a sculptor and stonemason in Karlsruhe since 1976. He is represented several times in the public space of his hometown. The artist died in Karlsruhe on June 30, 2023.
Note: there is another cat on the opposite side of the bridge
