Hohe Straße near Idstein

The Hohe Straße near Idstein is a former old road connection between Frankfurt and Cologne. This led as a high road for many hundreds of years over the ridge between the Wörsbachtal and the Emsbachtal.

The Taunus is a lying in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate low mountain range with the Great Feldberg (879 m above sea level NHN) as the highest elevation.
