The ancient Egyptian design, as it is known to us from the legacies of the New Kingdom, is timelessly beautiful. In contrast to the Egyptian models made of granite, the Harz version from 1859 is made of cast iron and comes from the nearby steelworks. The obelisk is 15.80 meters high.
