n the nineteenth century the palace became a hospital managed by the Fathers of the Fatebenefratelli Hospital and was dissolved in 1925, then becoming an important destination for lovers of art, culture, history and local traditions.
In a small separate room in the museum also hangs "St. Francis in Meditation" by Caravaggio.
