The K6309 begins at the exit Tegernau and winds in numerous curves first through forest and later across meadows with moderate slope up to Sallneck and the hill behind the village. From there you have a magnificent view across to the Belchen and to the south into Switzerland. In good weather, the view extends to the Alps, which appear to be almost within reach under favorable conditions. The road is in good shape and only slightly traveled, but rather narrow and winding, in the downhill, the necessary caution is recommended.
