A little-known route from Weitenau to Sallneck. Following the road from Weitenau-Fahrnbuck to Lehnacker, the path turns right after a quarry. At first it is not asphalted and steep, leads along a deep gorge and later along the course of the stream, until after a fork on the left it leads gently up to Sallneck over beautiful pastures and swamp meadows.

Cycling

The small quarry is no longer visible, overgrown. The route is indeed very quiet. At the top, you reach the tarmac road at the "Kreuz" (cross), offering fantastic views of the Belchen.
If you turn right at the junction below, instead of left, you'll reach Henschenberg and Eichholz. This alternative is also highly recommended.
