Tips
If you follow the sign a little bit to the left from the ascent to Cabeco do Canto, you come to Gruta do Cabeco do Canto, an old lava cave. Apparently it is not deep, we did not dare to go into it. On the ceiling of the cave you can clearly see lava stalactites. These do not continue to grow like normal stalactites, but stop growing when the lava cools.
