A wonderful trail through the natural laurel forest that is rarely found in the Azores. The gnarled trees form a natural tunnel lined with small stone walls. The trail is not officially marked but is in good condition. You really can't get lost even in foggy conditions, as there's no turning off. All you have to do is find the trailhead, but that's what komoot is for...
