About Rhön-Milan

Today I went hiking again, and because I was doing the extra tours, I decided to do an extra tour again today. The tour is wonderful, 4.8 out of 5 stars. Everything was great, including the weather, so the views were wonderful, varied nature, very, very great, the only thing that caused the 0.2 missing stars was the surface of the path, 60% natural, 15% gravel and gravel, the remaining 25% was asphalt. Could have been a little more natural. Still a wonderful tour. For anyone who wants to run after it, it shouldn't plan in the normal way, because it often runs on paths unknown to Komoot, the best thing is to just take my tour and save a copy, and then not adapt it to paths.
LG to you all, RM 🙋‍♂️

At first the tour was very nice, very quiet on these high meadows of the Rhön, only cows, no one else. Everything was beautiful up to the street. From then on it wasn't so great because it was right on the street, after that it got better for a short time, then worse again because the column path was made of perforated concrete slabs, and even after we left it we walked on asphalt. After the road below the elbow, the path became very overgrown, hardly possible to get through. But as soon as we were back on the official route, it was nice again. So recommendation: design the part between the main road and the official path at the Eisenacher Haus differently. From the Eisenach house over the elbow, the path was great again. Unfortunately, the weather, which was still involved in the beginning, was rather bad to very bad from the main road, thick fog, visibility was not further than 10 meters, nothing with great views and beautiful photos. Still a nice and recommendable tour.
      LG to all RM 🙋‍♂️

Unfortunately, Komoot had two dropouts today, so some tour dates are not entirely correct, the length is too short, the pace and the meters in altitude are not correct.
Well, in any case, it started very early this morning in Tuttlingen, where we continued along the Danube. The Danube Cycle Path took us through natural valleys and over small towns until we arrived in Sigmaringen at noon, a beautiful town with a magnificent castle on the Stadtberg. After the lunch break we went a little further until we got on the train en masse and drove home. With that we started the project to accompany the Danube from the source to the Danube Delta with bicycles.

It then started in Donaueschingen, along the Danube, which has now emerged from Brigach and Breg. Unfortunately, due to a construction site, we had to bypass the section of the cycle path at the confluence of the two rivers before we could ride the Danube cycle path again. From there a nice tour to Tuttlingen.

From the second source of the Danube, the Brigachquelle, the other variant of the first stage ran along the second Danube source river, the Brigach. This time, too, it was a beautiful landscape through which we came, beautiful valleys, beautiful places, we also came through Villingen. In Donaueschingen, the second variant of the first stage of the Danube Cycle Path was completed.

From the first source of the Danube, the Bregquelle, one variant of the first stage of the Danube Cycle Path ran along the one Danube source river, the Breg. We came through beautiful Black Forest valleys via Furtwangen to Donaueschingen. But since it was already very late and dark, you couldn't see much of Donaueschingen. Still a nice tour.

On the first day we started with the train journey to Haslach, from where we cross the first pass via very steep climbs, but despite the steep climbs a beautiful and quiet valley. Once at the top, it first went steeply downhill again, where we then drove on a road in the upper Ennstal. Then it went up again steeply and at the highest point at 950m we left the road. At the top again in a beautiful landscape in which it then went along with slight climbs to the first source of the Danube, the Bregquelle.

Today it was the turn of a little relaxation session, and the area was still partly unknown to me, although it is no longer close and accessible to us. The weather had done a good job, the distant views were great. So nice tour, highly recommended, hardly any hikers and two rest stops, everything was great except for the sections with asphalt.

Today the weather was nice again, so the tour was put together and off we went.
This area was still unknown to me, but I noticed immediately that it is particularly beautiful. She is just unique in her own way. Although some asphalt could not be avoided, the other sections were all the more beautiful. Nice tour, were very satisfied in the end. LG RM 🙋‍♂️

Today was the next extra tour. Since we had to go to Bad Neustadt anyway, our decision on this tour was a big one.
The tour has its interesting parts, but it didn't really inspire me. Boring views, monotonous nature, only one section in the forest was special because of the nature of the forest. The proximity to the autobahn and federal highway wasn't great either. ⚠️BUT WARNING !!! ⚠️:
OAK PROCESSION SPINNER SHORTLY BEFORE THE FLAIL MAINTENANCE (see Fig. 14), please be careful here, the community has already been informed.
But the vineyard and the shell limestone quarry near the parking lot were definitely interesting.
To all best regards 🙋‍♂️ Rhön-Milan
