The Castelvecchio Bridge, also known as Scaligero Bridge, is an infrastructural and military work overlooking the Adige river in Verona. Belonging to the Castelvecchio fortress, it is considered the medieval architectural masterpiece of Verona. Although destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt in 1951.
