Gaimühle-Katzenbach

Fast descent, rocky climb. The route from Gaimühle to Waldkatzenbach is recommended in both directions. How many routes in the Odenwald rather weak and after some clearing in recent times, with some scenic views.
In the downhill speeds up to 80 km / h are possible, but the necessary caution is urgently advisable, because the route is rather narrow. Increased attention shortly before the end of the gradient: quite suddenly and without the slope flattening, you get a very sharp 150 ° turn.

Despite a sunny Friday evening hardly any traffic. Neither cars nor noisy motorcycles. If you have the choice I would drive the Katzenbuckel high over the old Dielbacher crest and down here. At the end of the route, however, it is important to pay attention: The sudden turnaround has it all!
