"Pütt" means pit, puddle, possibly also well and that's just near Nacke🙂. The old well was found in 1994 during excavation work in front of the Nacke department store and is a reminder of the water supply of the people of Epen in the olden days. The girl figure with the bucket of water is "Änneken", which was created in 1998 by the two artists Liesel Leefken and Hedi Nacke.
