In Neerharen, near Lanaken, you will come across a beautifully maintained small lock along the walking and cycling route. This lock was built between 1930 and 1934. In the summer months, the lock traps quite a few pleasure craft. The dimensions of the lock are 55 by 7.50 meters, and the difference in height is 20 meters.
There are thus two locks that bridge the Albert Canal and the Zuidwillemsvaart.
