The service is very friendly and on the ice cream card is the GDR specialty Schwedenbecher, my favorite at the stop on hikes. The sundae consists of vanilla ice cream, applesauce, egg liqueur and whipped cream, and chocolate sauce over it.
The Swedish cup is told a story: At the Olympic Winter Games 1952 in Oslo, the cook of the GDR Olympians for this the sundae created. He finds himself on many menus in East Germany.
