The listed, Evangelical-Lutheran parish church of St. Jakob is in Uehlfeld, a market town in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim (Middle Franconia, Bavaria). The church is registered as a monument in the Bavarian list of monuments under monument number D-5-75-167-7. The parish belongs to the deanery of Neustadt an der Aisch in the Nuremberg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. The hall church made of ashlar masonry consists of a medieval choir tower, which was later increased to four floors and covered with a slate-roofed Italian dome. In 1872, the neo-Gothic nave with tracery windows and covered with a gable roof was added to it to the west. The sacristy was not added until 1928. The interior of the nave is equipped with double-storey galleries. The church furnishings include the altar built in 1706 and the pulpit erected in 1719, to which a sound cover was added a little later. The organ with 16 registers, 2 manuals and a pedal was built in 1907 by Johannes Strebel and rebuilt in 1970 by Erich Bauer[1].Source: Wikipedia
