Anyone interested in history is in good hands here. Although the museum is not expected to open until 2023, you can already book or arrange workshops, guided tours or events via the website of the Zeiteninsel HTTPS://zeiteninsel.de. I can only recommend it to everyone. We loved it

Worthwhile future museum. Anyone who is enthusiastic about history is in good hands here. The museum will not open until 2023, but you can already book tours, workshops and events. Or take an active part in experimental archeology yourself.

The Zeiteninsel is an archaeological open-air museum and a museum project under construction. The archaeological site is on the outskirts of Weimar-Argenstein in the Lahn Valley south of Marburg. Thousands of years of landscape and cultural history come to life there in five epochs (from the Stone Age to Roman times). There we can experience both a natural biotope and various pasts up close. It's nice to see how this project / association has developed over the years.
