Over the Nord-Erbach Heights, from which we have an excellent view as far as the Düsseldorf Rhine plain, we hurry on a desolate path - let's call it wildly romantic or rather dystopian with its many fallen trees - into the Hohdahlbachtal; further past the Little Switzerland to Tönnisheide and the viewpoint Silberberg; only here do we have an unobstructed view of the hustle and bustle of the quarry.
