From Pötzscha to Naundorf, the eager hiker goes through the so-called Damengrund.
The spruce forests and individual sandstones already set the mood for the larger highlights on the upper level.
Once at the top, the paths split in the direction of the Bärensteine.

The ascent through the Damengrund turns out to be a beautiful narrow and relaxed path that runs partly over the field and partly through the forest. Both bear stones are easily accessible via it (and other ways), even if the big bear stone is not signposted.
CAUTION: There are a lot of mosquitoes in the forest section in the summer months.
