The Denti di Cavallo (609 meters above sea level), imposing formations of red porphyry, tower to the southwest of Lake Caldaro. Reachable from Leuchtenburg Castle via path 18, they offer a breathtaking 360° panorama, from Oltradige to the Adige Valley. The path then descends steeply towards the hamlet of Gmund.
