The lower Gerlossee has a size of around ten hectares and a depth of 39 meters and is one of the largest lakes in the protected area of the Hohe Tauern National Park. With its picturesque backdrop, the lake, which lies at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, is a particularly worthwhile highlight.
