Chapel of Our Lady of Compassion-Bâtiaz, Martigny
This richly decorated place of worship is located at the foot of the rock face crowned by the Château de la Bâtiaz.
The small chapel of Our Lady of Compassion houses a remarkable collection of colorful votive tablets and magnificent stained glass windows made by Father Kim En Joong. The votive tablets, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, decorate the right wall of the chapel. The stained glass windows made by Father Kim En Joong were installed in 2014 thanks to the generosity of Leonard Gianadda.

The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Compassion is located at the foot of the rock on which the Château de la Bâtiaz proudly stands in Martigny. This shrine has a wealth of special features:
In the small chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Compassion you will find a remarkable collection of colorful ex-votos from the 18th and 19th centuries. These decorate the right wall of the chapel. In addition, there are beautiful stained glass windows made by Father Kim En Joong. These vitraux were donated by Léonard Gianadda in 2014.
The chapel is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
