The shipwreck in the Kil van Hurwenen is a 1898 in Waspik near the
shipyard P and A Ruijtenberg built steel “hevelaak” (Hagenaar), Henrica
called Mary. The ship, built for freight transport, has a cargo hold with a
fore and aft and measures over 21 by 4 meters, with a displacement of
more than 76 cubic meters. The ship was equipped with a mast and boom with
unloading installation, as well as a side screw installation with a diesel engine.
