Loch Achray is a wonderfully scenic spot in the heart of the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. This is especially the case on a calm winters' morning, when the likes of Ben A'an and Ben Venue are reflected beautifully in its glassy surface. The hike up to Ben A'an, one of Scotland's finest mini-mountains, typically starts from the north western end of the loch.
