Many Iserlohn residents can still remember the former "Städtische Badeanstalt", which was operated there from 1908 to 1968. Today it is hard to imagine that the people of Iserlohn made intensive use of the department with the bathtubs, as there were no bathrooms at all in most of the apartments. It was not until 1984 that demolition of the bathing establishment began. In April 1986 the shell was finished and a year later the tenants moved into the first 25 apartments in the Kluse.
