Müritzeum

If you want to learn more about the Müritz, the peculiarities and the underwater world of the Mecklenburg Lake District, then a visit to the Müritzeum is a must. The exhibition area in the nature experience center measures 2300 square meters, and you can observe underwater life in 26 pools.

In the months of April to October the Müritzeum is open daily from 10 to 19 o'clock. In the other months the exhibition closes one hour earlier. All information can read here: mueritzeum.de.

The exhibition is well worth seeing, especially the aquariums in the basement with sturgeons, pikeperch, turtles, crabs and many other native inhabitants of the local lakes and rivers!
Admission costs 12 euros per adult.
