Quai de Biestebroeck

We are in the southern canal area, also known as "South Port". The Quai de Biestebroeck borders the basin of the same name.

The site was used for decades as a place for loading and unloading coal and materials useful for the operation of industries and the construction of the city. Near the railway line, here was a first-class multimodal industrial site.

Neighbors of this former industrial zone in decline, the districts located around the basin are today the subject of a development strategy. The objective is to redeploy residential and productive activities there via innovative forms of diversity.

Smooth bike lane but there are people walking/running at the same time
