Elephant stream is called the brook in the Stöckentobel-symbol for it is the stone elephant, which the beautification club Zurich 1898 further down in the riverbed built. Where the unusual name comes from is not clear. But already on the wild card from the years 1843-1851 the brook is called by the Stöckentobel as "Elephantenbach". The elephant stands in the middle of the stream and invites you to play and linger. A fire pit with seating is also available.
