Nothing against Heinz Erhardt, but is it really helpful for anyone to add the same poem to dozens of wells?

At this point / I would like to say something quickly / about the source
(whereby it is in keeping with the art of poetry / if this 'source' is a 'fountain'):
And I would like to quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 - 1979), who was known to a wide audience for his wit and "Another poem", with a short four-line verse:
"There is certainly a lot of beauty in the element, the wet one.
Because you can drink the water.
But you can also - leave it."
      (H.Erhardt)

        "Fountains in Kevelaer...
Water is ever-present throughout Kevelaer – whether in the St. Jakob Salt Garden, at the water tower, or in the town center. Numerous fountains in a wide variety of shapes and sizes adorn the Kevelaer urban area.
The significance of wells and pumps was quite different in the past than it is today. The wells provided water for houses and barns, for people and animals. They have always been popular meeting places, where people gathered, exchanged ideas, and learned new things. While the urgent need for fountains of this kind no longer exists, these often magnificent architectural and artistic creations are lovingly restored and reconstructed. They bear witness to a sometimes neighborly culture, historical encounters, and places, and usually adorn squares, streets, or houses.

They tend to be located in lively, well-frequented areas and attract attention through their unique artistic design.

A total of 17 fountains decorate Kevelaer's town center. A wide variety of shapes and sizes display many motifs:
