The ring rider museum is the only one in Denmark and is located in one of the oldest houses in the city of Sønderborg.
Here you will find information about the history of ring riding, the lances of the chairmen, saddle and bridle, as well as trophies, cups, honorary lances and Fritz Carstensen's painting, "The Ring Riders' Parade".
Also visit the medal corridor, the protocol and document room, where you can find out not only medals and ribbons but also who has become king, crown prince and prince over the years.The museum is open 2 days a week from June to August including Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the weekend when Ringreiterfest takes place in Sønderborg.Arrangements for group visits can be made all year round with Hans Struck on tel. +45 74427575.visitsonderborg.de/sonderborg/information/ringreitermuseum-gdk611188
