The Eisack - which also flows through Brixen - has its source west of the Brenner Pass and flows into the Etsch near Bozen. It is the second longest river in South Tyrol.

The Eisack not only transports huge amounts of water southwards, but also a lot of rock and cool air. An evening walk is therefore a welcome way to cool down even at 30 degrees and contributes to relaxation and recuperation. However, you should always watch out for cyclists.

You drive along the Eissack to Bozen. A great cycle path runs practically parallel, partly on the old railway line.
