Tips
The Tennenbachtal is located near Emmendingen and is beautiful. The former monastery and the restaurant to the angel offer even more incentives. The road is in good condition, but narrow and busy.

Vis-a-vis from the inn Engel you have the choice, either in the direction Emmendingen, to Almendberg or Mußbach uphill, or drive past the only preserved building of the monastery Tennenbach down the valley towards Sexau. The whole area behind Sexau / Emmendingen offers a variety of small roads that are usually only moderate or poorly traveled and can be combined in various ways to beautiful tours.
