Southwest of Wustrow, a wind turbine stretches into the sky. Since its commissioning on 3 October 1989, it has been feeding energy into the power grid, in Wustrow on the Darß - it's still spinning and supplying electricity. This wind turbine was the first of its kind in the former GDR. Unusually from today's perspective is the lattice mast. On it one mounted the rotor, in 25 m height over the soil.
