The Chapel of Our Lady on Hulstraat (Vollezele) dates back to 1666. It is the oldest chapel in Galmaarden and is best known among locals as the "Mariakapel op den Hul."
The chapel was restored around 1986 after a truck hit its roof while maneuvering. The roof was repaired using tiles from the house behind it, which was being demolished at the time. Before 1986, the chapel was whitewashed; after the restoration, the sandstone and brickwork remained visible.
