From this panoramic road above Buggerru, you can admire the Gulf of Lion, one of the most spectacular coastlines in southwestern Sardinia. The view encompasses miles of wild coastline dotted with dunes, cliffs, and golden beaches.
The gulf takes its name from the profile of a cliff resembling a reclining lion and extends to Portixeddu and Capo Pecora. On clear days, you can see the entire coastline, shaped by the wind and waves, which encompasses some of the most beautiful beaches in the Iglesiente area.
