Here is a sign for the sculpture project "FIVE SONGS"

    ---------------------------------

    "FIVE CANTS"

Art installation by Franz Erhard Walther.
As part of the sculpture project "Platzverführung" in the cultural region of Stuttgart, 1992.

The art installation symbolizes a fairground (almost) in the geographical center of Weinstadt. A place where the five districts literally meet. The slabs embedded in the ground symbolize the history of the districts:
    - Beutelsbach (binding)
    - Endersbach (origin)
    - Großheppach (transition)
    - Snitch (Emote)
    -stockinglbach (answer)

Franz Erhard Walther (*1932 in Fulda) Sculptor, conceptual, installation and process artist.
Professor from 1971 to 2005 at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Especially with participatory art, Walther is considered a key figure in contemporary art. At the Biennale di Venezia 2017 he was awarded the Golden Lion for best artist.
