            The ruins of a tower castle, located opposite the mouth of the Bocksbachtal on a spur projecting into the Pfinztal, were probably founded after 1100. It originally consisted of a wall with a ditch in front of it against the rising slope. On the small castle square towards the valley, which was protected in this way, there was a roughly square tower made of quarry stone masonry with a side length of 7.5 m and a wall thickness of an average of 1.80 m.
