You need some imagination. But we have them. The lords of the castle definitely didn't have much space back then.
Today you can have a nice rest here. Benches and tables are available.
Next to the castle there is a small ravine with a cave near the playground. Very popular with children.

Was discovered only in 1897, due to the objects found, the castle may have been destroyed by 1400.

The ruins of a tower castle, located opposite the mouth of the Bocksbachtal on a spur projecting into the Pfinztal, were probably founded after 1100. It originally consisted of a wall with a ditch in front of it against the rising slope. On the small castle square towards the valley, which was protected in this way, there was a roughly square tower made of quarry stone masonry with a side length of 7.5 m and a wall thickness of an average of 1.80 m.

After damage, the remains were probably significantly enlarged and reinforced, so that a tower with a base area of 10*10 m was created, but the wall thickness on the ground floor was estimated to be three meters.

Kleinsteinbach Castle is the remains of a hilltop castle at 175.6 m above sea level. NN Hohe Schösslebuckel east of the Kleinsteinbach district of the Pfinztal municipality in the Karlsruhe district in Baden-WĂŒrttemberg.
The castle was built around 1100 and destroyed in the 14th century. The castle was probably owned by the Lords of Remchingen. The castle complex was a tower castle with a keep (residential tower) on an area of 10.5 × 10.5 meters. The complex was secured towards the valley by a steep slope and towards the mountain spur by three moats.

Unfortunately there is not much left of the castle, but it is still worth seeing and impressive
