Our great hope comes true very suddenly: We are just now sorry for a dead seal driven to the eastern tip, when such a youngster climbs out of the water right next to us, crawls onto the beach and presents himself to us comfortably, completely unafraid in his " Banana position ".
A little further out on the sandbank we discover a larger group of seals, which we approach at a suitable distance (instructions vary between 300 and 100 meters safety distance) and observe them for a while before the entire group goes into the sea because of the rising water. where we then continue to watch their heads appear again and again.translated by
