Diverse, small park with retention basin, castle, meadows and playground. With the bird.net app you "catch" a variety of birds :-). The old oak tree by the castle has been threatened for around a year before the fall. Fortunately, it is allowed to live and has not been felled.
Very easy to reach by public transport.

The park is located on the site of the former Berne estate. The estate, which had been leased by Hamburg's St. Georg Hospital since 1375, was sold in 1806 and thus came into private hands.Around 1880, Charles Baron von Schröder had a manor house built for representative purposes. After the First World War, the "Gartenstadt Hamburg" building cooperative bought a large part of the land.A children's day care center has been housed in the building since 1969, and it was partially restored in 1992.An avenue of linden trees lines the path to the curved driveway of the house. Circular paths around the building lead visitors through the landscaped greenery to several ponds and lawns with old trees.laurustico.de/index.php/hh-gruen/487-berner-gutspark

The Berner Gutspark is a beautiful green area that stretches far through the district. You can walk on both sides of the Deepenhorngraben, the manor park itself is light and wide, in the southern part there is forest, part of which is in turn covered in wonderfully fragrant pine trees in summer. In summer, gray herons like to stand by the old carp ponds and buzzards circle in the sky. The Berner Gutspark is a wonderful walk, which can also be easily extended to a veritable hike through many paths. To the south, the path along the Berner Au can be extended as desired and roads only have to be crossed every now and then.
