The Milchbockweg (Milk Bock Trail) gets its name from the 1960s tradition of collecting milk cans. The horse-drawn cart driver would drive up to this milk bock and load the heavy milk cans onto the cart at the same height. This meant the horse-drawn cart driver didn't have to get off and on.
