Zeppezauerhaus

The Zeppezauerhaus is just a few meters from the mountain station of the Untersbergbahn. With a fantastic view, you can rest from your ascent here or prepare for your descent. If you are planning a multi-day tour over the Untersberg massif, the Zeppezauerhaus is perfect for an overnight stay. From here you can then hike on to the Stöhrhaus the next day or choose a descent route. The hut is open from May to mid-October and has 14 beds and 40 sleeping places in the mattress dormitory. Very nice alpine club hut with super nice landlords. Good food, simple but cozy furnishings and a great view of the Chiemgau, Salzburg and Berchtesgaden Alps.
