The power of the sling was not only used for the operation of flour mills. Long before the industrialization, a hammer mill was built here in the 16th century, in which copper was processed. In the associated manor house today the cozy restaurant Kupferhammer is housed. The restaurant is open all year from 11am to 8pm.

Sitting outside is quite nice with a view of the Schlaube - but everything is kept very, very simple. That was perfectly fine for a cold drink, but looking at the other guests' plates we were glad we hadn't ordered anything to eat. Ragower Mühle and Forsthaus Siehdichum are definitely the better addresses in the Schlaubetal!
