The mill is interestingly designed and is located in the beautiful quiet forest. You actually only hear the rushing water and the birds. The watermill is a bit hidden in the building, so you can't see it at first glance, but you can see it working through a lattice door.

The Kokenmühle is a water mill with a mill pond on the river Aue.

I'll tell you - but not now!

        Some days later:

        So - now:

Located near the Engelmann Bäke, where it was too crowded for me, I followed the idyllic river Aue and came out here at the mill and its lake. It was nice here. First of all, apart from me there was not a single soul here and the structures of the mill, including the associated equipment, bear witness to how hard work was once done here and tree wood was turned into construction timber. Few signs tell the story behind the story. For me it is a place of rest to which another, such "magical" place is directly connected with the Seerosenschlatt. I like this a lot.

        From Wikipedia:

"The mill, built on a foundation of massive field stones in oak and red brick, has a medium-sized water wheel from 1893 with a diameter of nine meters, which has been used to generate electricity since the mill was rebuilt after it was destroyed in World War II. A sawmill attached to the mill from the 19th century is still functional today. After extensive renovation in 1981, the mill building is now used as a venue for celebrations. [2] The Kokenmühle has been a station on the Lower Saxony Mühlenstrasse since 2008. ["
