Saltram's intriguing amphitheatre was built in the mid 1700s and faces out across the River Plym. It's so distinctive that you can see it from the Exeter to Plymouth train as you travel past. Spot the faces carved into the top of each arch and image what it would've been like to attend one of the owner's grand soirees here hundreds of years ago.
